One of the games I know from around 2015 is this one. Maybe I’m not the type of person who likes this type of game, but I play them as an experience, and make reviews of them for others to see. This game back then was an absolute banger for Yaoi/BL visual novel lovers and fans back then.
Room No. 9 follows the story of Daichi Kobayashi and Seiji Azuma, two students on a trip to Okinawa. After Daichi is cheated on and abandoned by his girlfriend, he decides to take his best friend, Seiji, with him on a ten-day trip to forget about his broken relationship. As they were leaving the airport by bus, they somehow woke up in an unfamiliar room. They have no memory of how they got there, but the locked doors and monitors disguised as windows give them more than cause for concern. The feeling of dread set in when they found a monitor with an ominous message, saying, “You have been selected to participate in a behavioral analysis experiment. If Daichi and Seiji want to escape from the room in ten days, they must follow the instructions the Monitor gives them and make a cruel decision. Either Seichi will have to physically hurt Daichi, or Daichi will have to sexually rape Seiji. Even though they’ve been friends since middle school, are Seiji and Daichi able to get through such dire situations with their friendship still intact? Room No. 9 has several options to adjust what is displayed in-game. Things you can change include more tamer elements, such as whether you want your guys to wear glasses or body hair, while the others involve more extreme content, such as blood and scats. You have the ability to disable certain visual representations.
