Mizuchi is a romantic fantasy visual novel inspired by an ancient Chinese legend known as The Legend of the White Snake [or, alternatively, Madame White Snake]. It tells the story of a young woman named Linh, who was thrown into a snake pit for crimes she did not commit. There, the snake goddess Ai saves his life, the price of salvation being his soul. From then on, Linh is forced to live with Ai. Soon after, a wandering monk named Jinhai finds his residence. She sees Ai as a danger and decides to move into Ai’s property to keep an eye on things. The Aikasa Collective funded Mizuchi on Kickstarter, where the visual novel raised over $10,000, meeting its stretch goal of including additional romantic CGs. The visual novel contains two stories and five different endings.
