Apart [DEMO]

Allow me to share some words with you first.
First of all. I want to thank you for playing the game.
I know it ain’t much, but it’s an honest work
After all, this is just a Demo release.
So just a very brief part of the story for Episode 1.
Also, why is it short because I’m testing first my capacity as a solo game developer.
Whether I can actually manage to push a minimal release with renders.
Second, sorry for the mistakes. Especially with the grammar and English and all.
I’m no native English speaker. And I wrote the script myself.
That’s why they’re *very bad*. Sorry.
As you can see I’m very new with all of these.
But I’ve been playing visual novels for quite some time now.
If you’re a developer or just a player who’s playing this game right now.
Please don’t hesistate to share your opinions in the thread.
I’m also currently working as a programmer at .
Which is also a newly formed team.
We’re about to release the game entitled {b}Mercyside{/b} so be sure to stay tuned for .
If the story for this release is not enough to be critiqued. Then maybe I’ll release the full Episode 1 instead as a Demo release.
But we’ll see.
If I see that the game can pull enough some attention. Then maybe I’ll continue the project.
The actual plan was to do this in 3D renders made with Daz.
But I am limited by the technology of my time
Basically, my workstation can only manage to do some non-stressing tasks.
That’s why I decided to work as a programmer since that’s the only thing that I can do right now.
Given the status of my current setup.
Anyways, I just want to explain myself before you guys judge this game.
I really aspire to be a solo game developer so maybe if I started to earn some cash in my current work at Triff Tales.
Then I’ll continue any early developed projects after I managed to pull off some resources.
So you may see this project gets continued or not. But I’ll try to ensure that it will not die *Hopefully*.
With your help and opinions, we will see.
The game was also made with the very basic Ren’Py game template.
But don’t worry. I’m quite good at making UIs beautiful (Atleast that is my opinion for myself). I mean I will just let my current project at Triff Tales speak for itself.
So if this game will be out of Demo release, then you will see this in its full glory.
My actual plan for my very first game is to be free for all!
Since I don’t want to pressure myself or make promises that I cant fulfill yet.
Because making a game is time consuming and is laborious.
Add that I’m also a college student. So balancing studies and game development to earn for a living will be hard.
Atleast not with my current situation. Maybe in my future projects. We’ll see…
