Hi,
I devoted the main part of my free time in 2021 to the development of this game. The Secret of Hokwiton is a visual novel complemented with gameplay elements of a point and click adventure. The core idea of the gameplay design is to have more interactive and diverse gameplay while avoiding the grind and repetition that occurs in many games of this type.
In the first release, you will meet all the main characters of the game and get an idea about the game’s mechanics. The focus in this version is on the main story. Because I write the story along with the future development of the game, it is hard to tell the exact point you are on the story at the end of this version. An estimated guess would be 50%-60%.
There are many possibilities to add additional content in future versions to the game. Many interesting characters are currently not developed. Many side activities, like working at the magical shop, lack content. And last, but not least, the classes that could be expanded on. I stumbled onto this site maybe 1,5 years ago. Then 1 year ago I bought a new PC to try out Daz3D and started with unity.
I am not an expert so expect bugs.
This is a hobby project. I have a full-time job and a family, so don’t expect rapid content updates.
