Sable’s Grimoire: A Dragon’s Treasure tells the story of Sable, a young student of magic at Amadronia Academy, during a break at the end of his first year of studies. One of Sable’s friends, a tomboy dragon girl named Drakan, has always wanted to introduce him to her family and decides to take the opportunity presented by the break. She invites Sable to spend the break at her house; however, as they prepare to leave, they are suddenly visited by Drakan’s mother, Nidhogg, who approaches Sable and forces a cursed necklace on him. She then proceeds to give him a series of deadly trials that he cannot refuse. Although Sable’s Grimoire: A Dragon’s Treasure is the third installment in the Sable’s Grimoire visual novel series, it does not require knowledge of previous stories, as the game offers optional explanations for players who have not read, or who have simply forgotten the previous one. The story features four different endings, thirty CGs, and a glossary with additional information about its fantasy world. The game itself does not seem to be designed for people looking for adult content. This is because the story is heavily related and what makes it the main content for this game.
