Yes the game is just like that, its not a glitch or anything. Its just like that, we doesn’t really know why its like that.. According to According to DLsite’s information the game is discontinued and deleted without any notice or information further

All of Maplex games were discontinued and deleted.
The game won’t let you play and you will stuck there with only limited of its content. Sure thing it was a poor girl fate still unknown till these days. Very unfortunate, I was getting hype because of the game and all of sudden behind this all its just for nothing. I had a good time playing it even the background story like that it could be something worth it for a full game release.
