Blankspace is a mystery adventure game with point-and-click gameplay and visual novel-style storytelling. You play as a man who wakes up handcuffed in a white room. The only thing the man remembers is his name, Chris. The only other person in the room is a woman named Beryl, who is herself chained by one of her ankles to a couch. United by their peril, the duo decide to work together to escape their troubling situation. The game is played using point-and-click controls. Your task is to keep finding a way forward, collecting clues along the way. To do this, you have access to an inventory that you can fill with found items, which can then be combined into more sophisticated tools used to solve various logic puzzles. As Chris and Beryl work on their escape, they often talk to each other. Your choices during these dialogues will shape the relationship between the two characters and affect the ending you get. While the two characters can consummate their potentially romantic relationship, Blankspace’s erotic scenes are purely of a new variety, descriptive text with no accompanying graphics.
