The game is about taking care of a young girl from an abusive family or abuse her yourself in this management game from Banana King, Nai’s Training Diary. In Nai’s Training Diary, the player takes on the role of a journalist who is visited by a policeman one day. The officer introduces them to a shy young girl named Nai. He explains that she was rescued from an abusive family, but the full investigation will take a hundred days and the police station is an unsuitable place for a child to stay that long. Given the circumstances, the journalist agrees to take care of the young girl. It quickly emerges that Nai is badly scarred and has a disturbed view of the world, seeing herself as a female dog unworthy to eat at the table. It’s in your hands as the player that you’ll help her re-socialize and give her a happy life – or abuse her like she’s a sex slave, making decisions through dialogue choices.
Nai has a set of stats that determine his mood. How you treat her will determine how favorably she sees you. Sending her to work will stress her out, while various jobs will develop her soft skills. Increasing his stats leads to new story events and unlocks new endings. Each day is divided into three periods, which you can spend interacting with Nai or scheduling various activities for her. The sexually explicit encounters in Nai’s training diary play from both the reporter’s and Nai’s perspective.
